The Irish Woodturners' Guild was founded in 1983. Since then it has flourished and now has over 700 members and comprises of 20 Chapters. The Guild is run by an Executive committee. Click here to see the IWG constitution.
The Guild Executive Committee is elected each year at the AGM. The Executive committee meets at least six times each year and oversees the day-to-day running of the Guild.
The IWG formulated a Business Plan during 2015 in association with Business to Arts. Please note that some of the information in this document has changed since it was written.

The Guild is organised in 20 regional/local Chapters. Chapters are often said to be the life blood of the Guild and in many instances are the first contact points for new members. Most Chapters organise monthly meetings/workshops and welcome new members as well as members from other Chapters.
