Bloom in the Park 2011


Bloom was a great success,

With hundreds of flyers handed out, most Chapters in the Guild should be getting some new members.

hundreds of spinning tops, dibbers, goblets, paper potters pens, and wet bowls turned to crowds 5 deep on the nice days !!

Thanks to all that helped out on the 5 days,

Joe Laird, Even Petty, Jack Kearney, Eugene Grimley, Eugene Sweeney, Aiden Keogh, Bernard Cassidy, Dave Kelly, Cecil Barron, Charlie Ryan, Tony Lally and also to Ken Fildes for his trailer and  Mick Tighe and Shane Laird for the help with all the heavy work !

Summer Camps at Joe Laird Woodturning


Joe Laird's Summer camps for youths are designed for children between the age of 12 and 19 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for younger people to be introduced to the ancient craft of wood turning.

The course will consist of five three hour classes over a period of five days. The class size is limited to five students per class... so early booking is advisable.
